Merc: Daphne Vengaard
I higly recommend to give the whole bunch of ‘The Other Ones’ a try as a team. Skat, Pina, Igwa, Laboum, Yori and Cutness are designed to fit together pretty well. Here is the collection.
Always keeping a cool head, no matter what happens – Daphne Vengaard is a born leader for any armed unit. She volunteered for the Danish Army at a young age, where her leadership qualities were quickly recognized and actively developed. After exceptional performances on international deployments in the Middle East and several NATO missions, she was accepted into the Danish Jægerkorpset. After more outstandingly succesful missions, she became one of the few female commanders of a unit within the corps.
After differing opinions regarding the corps direction and necessary resources, she was eventually discharged highly decorated and with highest honors. AIM was delighted her to join the organization, despite other offers. Don’t let her looks fool you. The blonde from Denmark is experienced, patient, and cunning. And if a plan (quite unlikely) should fail, there’s still always a shotgun in her hand.

Leading by example
Increase the team morale when Daphne hit three or more times with a single attack. No shotguns.
Her stats, perks and items she can lead and inspire any team to peak performance. With some individual training she can also become a great sniper.
Daphne comes fully voiced with over 140 individual voicelines recorded with a voice changer. Without speaking or feeling the danish language it was a challenge, but I tried to blend in some phrases, words and rants.
I heavily edited a generated image to get the artwork for Daphne (Yes, detailing and coloring was done by hand). That fantasy frankstein weapon still give me chiffers down my spine, and I have to edit it someday with some more time and inspiration. The perk and status icons are created with Illustrator and Photoshop.
Besides bugfixes (and maybe some minor tweaks recently) the mod is finished. As a member of the merc team ‘The Other Ones’ some campaign stuff is already in the early planning stage, to shed some more light on background stories of the group. But a reliable time schedule can’t be given at that point.
