TFAR Static Handsets

Turn placed props into TFAR-backed static radio stations with ACE interactions.

TFAR Static Handsets adds fixed-position communications to Arma 3 missions. Instead of every important radio living in a player’s inventory, mission makers can place believable radio points in bunkers, checkpoints, towers, command posts, vehicles, and field positions, then lock them to mission-defined settings.

What It Does
  • Converts placed props into static TFAR radio stations through Eden attributes
  • Adds ACE interactions to pick up and hang up the handset
  • Supports long-range TFAR backends
  • Allows optional TFAR speaker behavior, when somebody speaks on the frequency everyone around the radio can hear it
  • Supports live Zeus configuration through a dedicated module

Mission Maker Features
  • Encryption – Choose the radio’s TFAR code side
  • Volume – Define backend radio volume
  • Handset Point – Adjust where the handset cable originates
  • Handset Range – Limit how far players can move before the handset auto-hangs up
  • Idle Speakers – Let the radio act as a world speaker when idle
  • Player Reconfiguration – Decide whether players can change radio settings or keep them locked to Eden/Zeus control
  • Intercom-Like Mode – Optional phone-style use where the handset automatically always sends when picked up

Intercom-Like Mode
  • Enabled by default for the intended experience
  • Best used with TFAR Full Duplex enabled
  • If Full Duplex is disabled in TFAR, phone-style behavior may be limited
