Imperialism Reinvigorated ALPHA
Imperialism Reinvigorated is a flavor overhaul, intended to restore a feeling of progression and competition during colonization and empire building for the major (and minor) nations of history!
Exploration, expansion, and colonization can all get a bit stale without the context of historical (or ahistorical rather) narrative. This mod seeks to rectify this by revamping the major imperial nations’ missions, events, decisions, governments, and just general flavor of the game. As an avid player, this is the mod I always wished existed, so I decided to create it!
NOTE: I have extensive mission trees planned out awaiting to be implementation. While the mod is still in development, I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback on the new trees and general functionality and enjoyment of the mod!
This mod is currently a standalone, but I am in the process of building in more compatibility, particularly for Beyond Typus.

Just submitted an update that should fix the auto achieving bug for the missions. Let me know if you have any more auto achieving bugs.

Key Features:
Standardized the types of missions generally into Discovery, Colonize, Conquer, Control, Diplomacy, Internal, and Empire types, which upon completion, most will trigger a unique and powerful reward.
Overhaul of mission trees for every major power (over 200 new missions at this time)
New events to clean up and add more flavor to the world
New ideas for many of the newly added nations in Germany and France

Many lands are initially uncolonizable if they have the tropical/arid/glacial climate modifiers. These provinces will become available in the mid-to-late-game or by mission and event. This changes the pace of colonization to better reflect history.
States are more powerful, but there are fewer of them in the early game, use them wisely.
Trade Companies act more akin to "production states"
Fiefs: a new type of vassal that is much more loyal and economically valuable, but also unable to be fully integrated outside of decisions and events. These represent the various semi-autonomous territories, nobilities, margraves, buffer states etc etc of history.
New disasters that are avoidable, but usually at some great cost to you, like choosing a local noble rather than binding Aragon to your dynasty to avoid the War of Castilian Succession. While these disasters can present a significant challenge at times, they can potentially grant you with significant boons should you prevail.
Full colonial flavor overhaul: >54 different unique colonial nation names per major nation!
I would like to add navigable rivers at some point, seeing as they were immensly important historically.

Known Bugs:
Typos and bugs are a given. This is Alpha. Im usually pretty quick to fix things I am alerted to however, and update at least once a day usually. If you have any bug reports or suggestions, I appreciate them all.
Later starts are not supported right now. Use at your own risk. I would like to get this working, but its a relatively low priority for me as the vast majority of people play from 11/11/1444.
The Beyond Typus mod and Imperialism Reinvigorated mod conflict right now, though they both use Draiocht’s BT map. Could change in the future, who knows.
