Nation inspired by the trio of books from Paul Koudounaris about Ossuaries , relics and Catacomb Saints of the Catholic Counter-Reformation of the 16th and 17th centuries. Motifs of morbidity and corporal mortification as well as the Second Coming of Christ and the Judgment Day when the dead will rise are also big parts of the nation. As a backstory I mixed it with ex-marignese religious fanatics who worship the bones found in Eldergate after the defeat of Ermor at the hands of Marignon, and await the Second coming of the prophet shrouded in white.
