Good Nutri-Pack Craft ENG
The previous mod added new ration packs along with their own storage containers. This version only adds research and crafting for the vanilla ration packs.
However, the crafting system will not work properly without separate storage for complex cooking. Because of this, a larger storage mod has also been created separately.
This mod adds the research for Ration Packs and Ancient Nutri-Rations, as well as the ability to craft them.
First, to learn how to craft the rations, you need to research the «Advanced Cooking» technology. Once you’ve researched this technology to Level 2, you’ll unlock two new technologies to research: one for the Ration Pack and one for the Ancient Nutri-Ration.
To research the Ration Pack technology, you need:
- Level 2 of the Research Bench;
- Book – 4 units;
- Ration Pack – 1 unit;
- Research time – 5 hours.
- To research the Ancient Nutri-Ration technology, you need:
- Level 3 of the Research Bench;
- Book – 3 units;
- Ancient Science Book – 2 units;
- Ancient Nutri-Ration – 1 unit;
- Research time – 7 hours.
The Ancient Nutri-Ration value has been increased from 125 to 150 to make it slightly better than the Ration Pack. That’s why it requires more resources for research and crafting.
After researching the technology, a new crafting recipe will be added to your cooking stove.
To craft the Ration Pack, you need:
- Foodcube – 1 unit;
- Dried Meat – 1 unit;
- Hemp – 4 units.
To craft the Ancient Nutri-Ration, you need:
- Foodcube – 1 unit;
- Rice Bowl – 1 unit;
- Hemp – 10 units.
I liked another author’s idea that hemp grains are nutritious and also work perfectly for packaging the ration itself.
As one commenter noted under the previous mod, characters do not place hemp into the cooking stove. However, they will still use hemp from their inventory when cooking.
