(PvE 1p US) Airborne Assault
(No Landing craft) I liked the mission "Operation Landfall" so much, I wanted to add my own take on it. There are no landing craft, so you have to invade with airborne and helicopters – choose your deck wisely. Also, the USS Ticonderoga DDG is mobile, you have a support DDG(static) to help you deal with enemy naval asset. Other changes are minor. Have fun!
— This mission is meant to be different every time you play it. Each playthrough will have different units at different locations. As well as each difficulty has different enemy units.
— it’s D-Day on the Black Coast. Your landing force is tasked with invading the beach, creating a beachhead and securing a foothold in the region to begin the breakthrough. Once the beach is secured; capture the nearby airfield to allow for supplies and reinforcements to be forward deployed. Be prepared for a counterattack at any moment. If the beachhead is lost, the mission will be a failure..
