Welcome to Varezys Dynasty Men-at-Arms, a dedicated submod for the incredible Legacy of Valyria and A Game of Thrones mods.
First, and foremost, the art was generated by AI, so if you don’t like it, you won’t have to waste your time and I won’t have to waste mine.
Now, this submod expands the roster of the Varezys dynasty, one of the forty dragon-riding families of the Valyrian Freehold. When playing as a Varezys (either with the "After the Doom" start date of Legacy of Valyria or with the "House Customizer" trait from the base A Game of Thrones mod to join an existing dynasty/house). It introduces new, efficient, and strong (maybe too much) Men-at-Arms regiments exclusive to your bloodline.
This mod adds 9 completely custom Men-at-Arms units exclusive to the Varezys Dynasty. They feature artwork and unique flavor text.
- Aurion’s Cinder-Gilded Host (Heavy Cavalry) – Elite heavy cavalry of House Varezys, the Cinder-Gilded Host is renowned for its discipline and devastating charges. Clad in ornate armor with motifs of fire and gold, they embody the burning will of their house and are a symbol of terror to all who face them on the open field.
- Ashen-Wing Marksmen (Archers) – The Ashen-Wing Marksmen of House Varezys are famed for their precision and discipline. Their arrows, fletched with crimson feathers, rain down upon the enemy in perfect volleys, igniting the battlefield with both fire and fear.
- Iron-Bound Legion (Heavy Infantry) – The backbone of the Varezys host, the Iron-Bound Legion fights in close formation, their shields and blades emblazoned with the sigil of flame. Their unbreakable line and burning resolve have turned the tide of many battles in the name of their house.
- Fourteen-Flames Scorpius (Siege Weapon) – Forged from the volcanic glass of Valyria, the Fourteen-Flames Scorpius hurls razor-sharp obsidian projectiles that can pierce the strongest fortifications. Their bolts, tipped with enchanted flames, ignite upon impact, turning stone walls into blazing infernos.
- Talon-Flame Skirmishers (Skirmishers) – Swift and elusive, the Talon-Flame Skirmishers dart across the battlefield like tongues of flame. Armed with javelins, short swords, and round shields, they harass enemy formations, sowing chaos and confusion before the main assault.
- Glass-Point Phalanx (Pikemen) – Wielding long spears etched with runes of fire, the warriors of the Glass-Point Phalanx form an impenetrable wall. Their spears, blessed by ancient Valyrian sorcery, can pierce armor and ignite the blood of their foes.
- Blood-Heat Outriders (Light Cavalry) – Mounted on swift Valyrian steeds, the Blood-Heat Outriders charge with lances that burst into flame upon impact. Their devastating strikes shatter enemy lines, leaving trails of fire and destruction in their wake.
- Cinder-Blade Warriors (Infantry) – Versatile and fierce, the Cinder-Blade Warriors combine the agility of infantry with the ferocity of their Valyrian heritage. Armed with curved blades and shields adorned with flame motifs, they excel in both offense and defense.
- 👑 Wardens of the Dragon-Throne (Elite Heavy Infantry) – The elite guardians of the ancient Flamespyres, the Wardens of the Dragon-Throne represent the pinnacle of Valyrian martial prowess. Clad in dragon-scale armor and wielding blades forged in dragonfire, they are the ultimate protectors of their dynasty’s legacy.
Note: This is an ultimate unit limited to a regiment stack size of 10. They can only be recruited by completing the "Varezys" dynasty legacy track and unlocking the 5th perk, Sons of the Fourteen Flames!
There are also some slight modifications to the Varezys Dynasty Legacy added by Bloodlines: Legacies of AGOT thus the requirement of the mod for this one to work.
As this is a submod, you must have the required mods loaded before this one. Please arrange your playset in the following order to prevent crashes:

This submod includes built-in localisations for the following languages:

It is compatible with all other AGOT submods as long as you follow the load order above.
Because this mod specifically tweaks the Varezys custom legacy track, it may conflict with other mods that directly edit the Bloodlines: Legacies of AGOT custom house legacy files. Simply keep this mod at the very bottom of your playset so your Men-at-Arms and Varezys-specific changes overwrite anything else and work perfectly!
