Late Africa Colonization
This mod introduces new restrictions on colonizing Africa, adding historical progression through medical advances.
Rules:
- African Nations
If your capital is in Africa, you can colonize anywhere without restriction. - Non-African Nations
You cannot colonize Africa by default.Exceptions (always allowed):
- Macaronesia (Azores, Canaries, etc.)
- Cape Verde
- Mascarenes
- East African Islands (e.g. Comoros, Mahé)
- Jesuit’s Bark (Age V Advance)
Allows colonization of coastal provinces in Africa (provinces with at least one coastal location). - Quinine (Age VI Advance)
Allows full colonization of Africa without restrictions.
