Preset Ring Editor
Ring Preset Editor allows you to customise the components and colours of each of the 16 ring presets. This is intended to be used to alter certain rings found in Career mode, allowing you to alter the visual style of the wrestling ring used in each federation
I made this as a mod like this was a request made by multiple people in the WE Modding Discord and the lack of any means to edit the ring in Career mode bugged me, when I wanted feds like All-American Wrestling to match override mods or a certain era of wrestling.
[SETUP]
In the WECCL mod menu in Options, this mod is split into two configs, Colours and Options, as there are a LOT of elements to edit. If the menus are a little hard to read, it is recommended to use the config file, located in the BepinEx -> config folder.
“Colours” handles the colours of the ring: you can change the RGB percentage for each presets’ canvases, aprons, pads, posts and mats, leading to some colourful combinations. You can even make parts of the ring glow if the values are set over 100%!
“Options” handles the components of the ring: each of the 16 presets have an option to change canvases, aprons, turnbuckle pads, posts, mats, ring shape and the ring’s size. The ropes even have a few randomised options, including the vanilla behaviour of the Maple Leaf Grappling and the Wrestling Revolution ropes. (Bet you didn’t notice those swapped every so often…)
There are far too many values to list here, so a readme is included in the mod that explains the details, values and quirks of the mod as well as a google doc version included here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_QUl04XAM_XGpGXFhXKr-EO0nC8bm0RSKIMGOr_MS4M/edit?usp=sharing
Make sure you read the readme or the linked guide, it has the values and what they mean!
[SMALL README UPDATE]
If anyone has been dealing with specific federation brand items (Values 2 to 11 or -2 to -11 on Aprons OR -1 to -9 on Canvas) not displaying correctly, this is due to vanilla code that detects characters and their federations and overwrites it to correctly update for a match. (Overwrites for PPVs in Career Mode can also happen to the Canvas).
Apologies for the confusion. The online guide above has been adjusted to account for this.
[THANKS]
Special Thanks to GamingMaster (GM) and to Street, as they both were a great help in me entering the world of Wrestling Empire code modding with all their explanations and suggestions, and GM’s contributions to the code allowed me to get the ball rolling and make these into real mods!
