PERSONALITIES EXPANDED is a small vanilla-friendly mod for Kenshi that expands the pool of possible Personality Traits assigned through PERSONALITY entries.

Kenshi already uses Personality Traits to decide which personality-based dialogue can apply to a character. But PT_WARM_KIND and PT_COLD_CRUEL were never integrated into the actual pool, which means some vanilla dialogue could never appear because no characters were being assigned to those traits.

Also, some PERSONALITY entries had very limited PT variety, like the Sheks guards only being honorable or brave, or your tech hunter recruits all being smart or brave. Even though many vanilla dialogues should allow them to having more distinct personalities.

But with PERSONALITIES EXPANDED, all characters now have distinct personalities! This mod also goes very well with total dialogue overhauls like Talkative Kenshi or Universal Wasteland Expanded.

This mod only edits Kenshi’s PERSONALITY entries in the FCS.

It does NOT remove or replace the Personality Traits (PT) already assigned in vanilla.
It adds more possible Personality Traits across the existing PERSONALITY entries.
It also adds PT_WARM_KIND and PT_COLD_CRUEL to the possible PT pool.

This is a backend mod. It does NOT add new dialogue, rewrite vanilla text, alter gameplay, change races, edit factions, or touch world states.

It only expands the possible Personality Trait distribution used by Kenshi’s PERSONALITY entries.

I will not add, erase or edit any dialogue lines into this mod. It is only giving characters access to more diverse dialogues related to their assigned Personality Trait. Keeping this mod lore-friendly, compatible with huge overhauls, and your 400+ mods modlist is the objective.

Should be compatible with pretty much anything since it doesn’t alter any dialogue lines or packages by itself.

PERSONALITIES EXPANDED should be loaded near the end of your load order, after total overhauls which might change the PERSONALITY entries.
