[WOTC] Buff Details
Ever stared at a buff icon wondering what it actually is?
Are you lazy like me and don’t want to select every unit and open every F1?
This mod adds hover text to the buff icons, so you can quickly see what’s going on.
- Hover over any buff or debuff icon to see the names of each entry
- Overlaid buff count displayed when enabled
- In-hover text turn counts shown when enabled
- Performance-focused with zero polling mechanisms for observing buffs
- Fully configurable via INI:
- Hover text font size, padding, offset, and side
- Count overlay font size and position
- Toggle turn counts and count overlay independently
There are considerable differences that required I release this separately.
1. ED is a UFE addon. Including this in ED would preclude non-UFE users unceremoniously.
2. Not all buff/debuffs come with a matching status icon, and vice versa.
– You may have a debilitating status not marked as a debuff, hence ED.
– You may have a buff without a status effect, hence BD.
– They are complimentary, not replacements, and not mergeable.
Combined, as separate mods, these two mods aim to reveal the full breadth of context.
