Primalist Faction
Adds the Primalists as a playable Faction, they play as mixture of the druid and dryad queen. They use ancient forests as citadels, their higher ranked commanders turn animals primal and most of their units have the giant sized tag whilst only taking up 1 tile in combat, this means that they have excellent mobility in forests.
In the early game their main goal is to spread forests and either make or find ancient forests, in the mid they upgrade the ancient forests to gain blessings whilst upgrading their units to have the blessed trait, in the end game they gain many more options for gaining blessings, have some very powerful casters and can even access dark blessings through costly and complicated rituals.
They are fairly balanced but will be very powerful in the end game with blessings stacked and special commanders, the ai can roughly play them but it’s never going to do so terribly well as spreading forests is very important for them.
A few changes were made to base units. Forests shepherds change into venus traps after about 40 turns, this stops them from infinitely spawning and causing problems as they wander. Leogryphs are now primable and are also giant sized whilst taking up 1 tile.
