Admin Title Fix
This is a simple mod that tweaks titles and terminology for realms using an Administrative Government.
Please note that this mod is primarily designed for playing as Administrative Governments other than the Byzantine Empire. As a result, Byzantine-specific titles and terminology will remain unchanged.
Royal Titles: The children of rulers in Hegemonies and Empires that have adopted an Administrative Government will now display the titles of "Prince" and "Princess".
Imperial Terminology: The ruler of a Hegemony will now be titled "Emperor", and the realm itself will be referred to as an "Empire" rather than a "Hegemony".
Councilor Titles: In both Hegemonies and Empires with an Administrative Government, council positions have been renamed to 帝国宰相 (Imperial Chancellor), 財務統監 (Grand Treasurer), 皇室騎士団長 (Grand Master of the Imperial Knights), and 糾問使 (Imperial Censor).
Administrative Tier Titles: Rulers and realms under an Administrative Government will now use specific terminology based on their tier:
Count-tier: 行政長官 (Chief Magistrate) / 行政庁 (Magistracy)
Duke-tier: 総督 (Governor) / 総督府 (Governorate)
King-tier: 執政 (Exarch) / 執政府 (Exarchate)
Title History Tweaks: When the Emperor of an Administrative Government changes, the title history will now display the succession as "Inherited" rather than "Appointed".
Title Priority Adjustment: In the base game, secular religious head titles (such as the Pope) are consistently prioritized over a ruler’s primary title (such as Emperor or King). This mod adjusts this behavior so that your primary secular title will now take precedence over religious head titles.
*Note: The English translations for these titles are adapted from the original Japanese text. If any of the terminology feels unnatural to native speakers, please let me know in the comments and I will gladly adjust it!
This mod is compatible with most other modifications, provided they do not alter the four vanilla councilor systems: Chancellor, Steward, Marshal, and Spymaster.
Supported Languages: English and Japanese.
