Description:

This is a medium scout sub designed for solo players or a small crew. Most things are centralized on the command room and reactor and workshop are side by side to it so solo captains dont have to move much. Theres a drone bay with a DIversdrone to support outside expeditions.

COMMAND ROOM

Command room features the following:

-Weapons periscope-
Switch active turret using the buttons near it. While using the periscope double click LMB to switch to next turret, hold LMB to fire. This periscope overrides other periscopes using the same turret.

-Defense Management System-
The DMS will alert of hostiles in the firing area of each turret, and automatically switch to a turret with an hostile near it. This is intended to save time selecting the right turret and simply man the periscope and fire.
On the nav terminal panel you can select wich turrets can be auto switched into by clicking in the desired direction triangle. The DMS will refresh each 6 seconds, customizable by clicking on the "update" label.
Theres a switch wich will turn on AI aiming on selected turrets. The AI is a cheap and dumb model, with terrible accuracy and no friend or foe recognition. It will fire at anything on its sight. An orange light on a turret will signal that AI is active, keep clear of it.

-Drone periscope-
This periscope is used to pilot the Diversdrone. LMB to move and double LMB click to cycle firing and driving mode. Outfitted gun is a laser turret. Each shot will consume a good part of the drones battery, theres for 4 or 6 shots without depleting the batteries too much.
Button on the periscope will switch to external cameras. LMB to cycle through all cameras.

-Ammo loaders-
All ammo loaders are in the command room along the supercapacitors for quick reloads and management.
Coilguns have 2 ammo slots for custom ammo belts (mix ammo types as you like).

-Gen flood switch-
Use to automatically seal and flood the reactor room to kill fires. Crew members will be trapped and drowned so use with care. Or not.

-Hatch lock switch-
Will force close main ballast hatch and drone bay hatch, preventing its opening. Orange lights indicates the lock is active.

-Vital support-
The room has its own battery, O2 generator, pump and O2 bottle refiller directly feed from a reactor junction box.

Keel cargo hatch

At the bottom of the front ballast theres a hatch that opens directly to the ocean. Its main use is to be a shortcut towards the workshop from anything being looted below the sub. Opening it will completely flood the whole front of the sub. Creative captains can choose to keep it open to "anchor" the sub to the floor or making bold crash dives into the abyss to escape something even scarier than crush depth.
The hatch will autoclose after 6 seconds. Theres a lever that disables/enables autoclosing. When both the hatch is open and autoclose is disabled an alarm will sound in comand room. Pulling the "hatch close" lever will force it to close.

Batteries

Theres 2 batteries wich its main use is to supply power when the reactor cant cover the demand, as example when going from 0 to 100% engine. This prevents power shortage. Theres a display in the comand room showing how much power the batteries are supplying. They can be turned off at the nav terminal UI.

Batteries will not prevent overvoltage.

Drone Bay

Theres an internal flooded drone bay at the front. Remember to wear diving suit before entering as its flooded at external pressure, wich will kill you quickly. While docked the drone batteries and O2 bottles will recharge.

Hatch will automatically open and close for the drone. DIvers have to use the nearby button.

If you are wondering why a flooded drone bay its because game limitations.
