This mod is a response to the lack of any effect from the traits and imperium effects that give influence to the ruling party. The effect does work, but the magnitudes used in the vanilla game files are much too low to have any significant effect. I have scaled all the vanilla values by 50 (i.e. 1 becomes 50, 2 becomes 100, 3 becomes 150….) and the effect is to translate into real movement of the influence levels now. I have tried to scale this so that the first level (50) gives about a 1% influence gain per turn. The scaling is not linear so that 500 influence gain doesn’t directly translate to a 10% gain in influence per turn, but you will see signficant movement at the high levels of influence gain.

This mod should make it so that civil war is possible in the late game and even difficult to avoid if you are not careful. I’ve done what testing I can, but you balancing results may very. Please feel free to leave any feedback in the comments.

I believe I have caught all the cases where this effect is used and scaled them all approriately. If you find any I missed, please let me know.
