Additional Buildings – Culture, Uniques, Empire
Updated to 1.2 – Included balancing changes, and megalopolis compatibility. Included new buildings, and new section for colonial buildings (fast to build overseas colonial buildings, unlocked after Colonial Charters advance.)
This mod attempts to add new unique flavorful buildings to various cultures and areas, and will be updated with new unique buildings in mind. Most of the cultural unique buildings can be built at game start, and I attempted to keep them in line with the time period. There are some generic western buildings too, and a whole section for capital/empire buildings.
These capital/empire buildings attempt to provide unique effects and bonuses to your capital and the realm. They are expensive, take a long time to build but I hope ultimately are worth it. They require 500k population and 40 development in the capital of your empire-tier realm to build. They also provide some events that grant prestige when constructed.
The colonial buildings are meant to be weaker, expensive but fast to build buildings to kickstart your new colonies.
I will be updating this with new content and balance changes often. If you come up with bugs, issues, or have suggestions for new buildings to add, feel free to leave a comment. If there’s too much obvious overlap between some buildings I’m looking for that too.
AI will probably not build these yet, and that is something I will work on for the next update, but it might build them if they think they are profitable. It should be safe to add mid-save, but might not be safe to remove mid-save game.
