Atashi iThermal 2007 FLIR-as-NVG Replacer [BASIC]
This new highlighting system has a special quirk other FLIR probably doesn’t have. It can maintain an object’s texture while giving a glow effect! This is especially convenient on bots. It also is highly compact and just needed a single ravenscript file to make the highlighting fx. It also visualizes effects such as fire, weapon heating and more.
Player FLIR system made by my favorite fictional and fake corporation, Atashi. Now, you may be wondering, "Hey? Why does this say BASIC?" Its because i haven’t made advanced FLIR simulation yet, such as body cooling (which i have sorted out) and then vehicle heating up and cooling. That will be released in the ADVANCED version of this mod.
The highlighting system works on most vehicles, but isn’t the friendliest to vehicles with tons of decals, if you know what I mean. It should work on MOST.
Other oddities I have no control over are vehicle parts, which may remain highlighted even when its turned off.
The previous problem of excessive lag was fixed, with putting in a more efficient ID system for HOT stuff.
It took me a while to make this because I had to develop a unique highlighting system that is more FLIR friendly. And to add to complications, I had to scrape up money to get my parallels desktop service paid for, because uploading only works on Windows.
