Resistance
The front has fallen.
American forces were repulsed in this sector, positions were lost, supply lines collapsed, and the enemy seized control of large swathes of the territory. What remains are scattered units, isolated survivors, and a resistance slowly regrouping in the shadow of the occupation.
Resistance throws you into a tough recapture battle where you must reclaim control of the map step by step. Secure villages, capture strategically important zones, complete side missions, and expand your forces with each success. Every section gained strengthens your position, every lost area gives the enemy breathing room.
The enemy is firmly entrenched in the area, patrolling, defending key positions, and striking back as soon as you gain ground. Only those who deploy their forces wisely, secure resources, and maintain the initiative will be able to fully recapture the sector.
Important note: A direct attack on enemy-held villages at the start of a mission is usually doomed to failure. First, use side missions to secure capital, build up your army, and gradually prepare for larger attacks.
