Description:

The Poison Assassin was designed as a Blight-oriented variant of the Flagellant class. However, to ensure they remain effective even against enemies with high Blight resistance, they are equipped to transition into a melee attacker.

The Poison Assassin has a base HP of 32. However, with an innate 20% Defense (PROT), their effective HP is closer to 40. Additionally, they boast high resistance to both Blight and Bleed.

The Poison Assassin has a low base damage of 4 – 8. However, the reasoning behind this will be further explained in the skill descriptions below.

By using this specific skill, you can switch to melee Mode. Upon activation, you gain a significant boost to your Attack Power but suffer penalties to your PROT and Resistances. In exchange, your Dodge is increased, allowing for a high-risk, high-reward playstyle.

However, this skill is not a mandatory requirement. Depending on your strategy, you may choose to adopt other skills instead, allowing for a variety of builds

poison mode

This skill functions similarly to the Flagellant’s abilities. While its base damage is lower in comparison, the Blight damage is increased by 1 point per tick

melee mode

The skill has a -40% Damage. However, due to a unique interaction with bonus Attack Power, the effective damage output is closer to -20%. Additionally, the Attack Power of your Riposte does not decrease even with consecutive uses.

This skill shares the same Damage Modifier as the Grave Robber’s ‘Pick to the Face.’ However, because the Poison Assassin has a higher base damage, the actual damage output is slightly superior

This skill inflicts both Stun and Blight simultaneously. It has excellent synergy with the previously mentioned ‘Finish Blow’ skill.

A standard Stun skill.

The Stress recovery effect only applies to allies who are currently Blighted.

This skill cures Blight, but it immediately attempts to re-apply a new Blight effect afterward. There is always a risk of the ally being poisoned again.

This trinket allows you to remain in Melee Mode without having to use the transformation skill. The Melee Mode persists even after the battle concludes.

Since the trinket’s stats are balanced around Level 5, I highly recommend using it only on a Poison Assassin who is Level 5 or higher.

I wanted to make the cooldown removal for the transformation skill a set bonus rather than a trinket effect, but I couldn’t find a way to do it. I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me how.

Please feel free to leave any feedback regarding balance or bug reports in the comments. It would be greatly appreciated!
