Water – Patch
Bug fixes and additions for Water by lukeh_ro. Loads alongside Water and patches issues without modifying the original.
Fixes:
– A possible Lua error when picking up a resource whose definition has been removed (e.g. loading a save where another mod was uninstalled).
– A possible Lua error when placing a Hand Pump for the first time on a fresh save.
– A possible Lua error in the savegame fixup that auto-registers existing Hand Pumps and Sinks as Storage buildings on load.
– The Sink ownership UI no longer shows a missing-icon glyph for users who don’t have the Toilets mod installed (the patch ships a local copy of the icon).
– The build-menu pulse highlight on the Basic Sanitation tech now points at Sanitation, not Animals.
Additions:
– Cool down at the hand pump – a relaxation activity that splashes water from a working Hand Pump and grants temporary heat resistance, mirroring the warm-up activity at Alba’s bonfire. Tradeoff: the buff also reduces cold tolerance for the same duration (the splash leaves them damp). (+10C heat tolerance / -10C cold tolerance, ~4 in-game minutes.) Will not auto-fire when the buff is already active or in cold weather; player direct-order still works.
– Spanish (es-ES) localization covering all of Water’s in-game text (buildings, resources, the Basic Sanitation tech, and the cool-down activity), not just the parts this patch changes.
