BDF | AB-4 #016, 77 ”Lowland Hammer” Squadron
In the late 2070s the Boscali Air Force impounded eighteen Alkyon AB-4 fast bombers that landed at Maris Airport for violating an ongoing arms embargo against the Primevan government put in place because of their supplying the Armed Liberation Alliance which had been designated a terrorist group since the 2060s. These eighteen bombers languished in storage until the full-scale war began between PALA, now controlling the Primevan government, and the BDF where they were handed over to 77 Squadron, better known as the Lowland Hammer Squadron.
Having been integrated with advanced weapons such as the GBM-500LR glide bomb and AAM-36 Scimitar air-to-air missile the Alkyons were able to effectively support Boscali armored forces both against PALA ground targets and Primevan Air Force top cover, providing a large and effective umbrella of multirole coverage and standoff jamming. #016 is crewed by pilot Sr. Lt. Barak Peres and WSO Flt. Lt. Hosea Shimoni
This livery is only usable by the BDF and was inspired by the schemes used on the F-16I Sufa and F-15I Ra’am
