Cush’s MBI + EPE Compatch
It’s a very basic (and tiny) "patch" which makes the mods More Background Illustrations and Ethnicities and Portraits Expanded work together.
Without this, I found that the barbershop was missing image backgrounds.
Badly. I mean it works for sure, but it’s not an optimal approach: it’s simply a copied and pasted `barbershop_background` object definition combined from the other two mods, using one file:

The "zz_" prefix on the filename means it’s later alphabetically than each mod’s own version and thus takes precedence.
Depends… if they change anything related to the entries in the `barbershop_background` object, this mod will fall out of date (as it’s just a copy/paste, rather than a smarter, automatically-integrated solution). Otherwise I can’t see why it wouldn’t work (unless the game core changes how barbershop backgrounds are defined).
Not even slightly, sorry. This was only created as a personal patch so that I could get these mods working together for my roleplay YT series, but figured putting it up here just in case might help someone else at some point (and lets me then include it in my mod collection for the series).
However, the mod literally creates one file made from two other existing files, so anyone is free (without any prior consent from me required) to download/copy/extend/modify/improve on this mod if neither of the original mods’ authors want to make their mods compatible with each other – which is totally ok, by the way. Mods are voluntary work so please don’t harrass them. There are too many "UpDaTe ThIs nOw!" style comments in the workshop that show no gratitude to mod authors and it’s pretty poor. I’m not really a mod author for CK3, I just copied/pasted some definitions and uploaded this.
Bro I don’t know, I’m just trying to drink my coffee and enjoy the game – like I said I’m not a proper CK3 modder and won’t be keeping this up to date, but feel free to try it out and create your own version of this that does work with X mod if you like 🙂
