Description:
ALTERNATIVE MACHINERY

General Notes:
  • This mod adds alternative version of the vanilla machinery with special modifications.
  • The building costs and power consumption of all alternative machinery increase proportionally to the impact of the modifications. It can also include craftables, junk items, artefacts, etc.
  • The general rule is: "Compact" machinery can be built indoors, while "Deep" machinery does not require resource veins.
  • All "Deep Wells" and "Compact" Machinery can be built indoors and are also "Small Shack" friendly.
  • "Deep Mines" can be built indoors but not inside "Small Shacks".
  • "Deep Drills" cannot be built indoors.
  • All blueprints can be found in "The Great Library" on Black Scrach (100%) or from appropriate vendors elsewhere (usually less than 100%).
  • Certain research is available as both research and blueprints.
  • A detailed description can be found in the game, manuals are sold at "The Great Library"
  • All values in brackets (‘[value]’) refer to the data present on the FCS for the most similar vanilla machine (This is found only in the manuals).
  • NEW – Changed vanilla Wells to be buildable indoors.

Tool Making Fabrication

It adds the Corpse Shredder, which provides an indoor method of corpse destruction.

SOME OF MY MODS:

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT It adds machines and recipes for books, AI core, etc.
Backpack Crafting Plus It adds machine to craft backpacks, new thieves large backpack and the new camper’s backpack that comes in many colors.
Fish and Meat Industry Adds fishing, fish farming, insect farming, survival cooking, foul raw meat purification, ration packs recipes and cultured meat.
Advanced Storage It adds dedicated storages to items that had originally a mixed storage (this avoid job clogging) + larger capacity storages.
Coal Industry It adds coal and ways to extract it (mine, deep mine and deep drill) and one use, that is to turn it into fuel.
Authentic Hydroponics It adds Cactus and Cotton Hydroponics at tech level 3, as an early source of indoor food and fabrics for city bases.

Mod Tester Start add a game start designed to test mods, the 10 sized squad of OP characters comes with backpacks that have zero emcumbrance (1⁻-20) and thousands of most of the resources you would need to test research, buildings, recipes, etc.
Veteran Game Start add 3 game starts with big squad sizes and high amount of initial funds.
Wandering Assassin for Hire Allows to recruit high level characters for 200.000.
Mercenary Squads with Plastic Surgeon I removed one generic mercenary from mercenay squads and added a surgeon mercenary with same power level as the generic mercenary. Now whenever you hire a merc band, you will have a easily accessible surgeon.
