Description:

A simple but satisfying parry mod for Rain World.

PARRYSCUG lets your slugcat enter a short parry stance and block or deflect incoming attacks with the right timing, including weapons, projectiles, bites, stabs, and other supported threats.
Time it well, and you can turn danger back against the world.

Press the parry key to enter a brief parry stance.
If a valid incoming attack hits during the active frames, it will be blocked or deflected.

The default key is C, but it can be changed in the Remix settings.

• This mod is still being improved, so small bugs or weird interactions may happen.
• Some modded weapons, creatures, or attacks may not be fully supported.

There may still be an issue caused by my old silly mistake. Sorry about that…

If the mod does not run, please try this:

1. Go to:
   C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonRain WorldRainWorld_DataStreamingAssetsmods

2. Delete the parrymod folder if it exists.
3. Re-apply / reactivate the mod in Remix.

If it still does not work, please leave a comment.

You can use your own image and sound for successful parries.

Place your custom files inside the mod’s user_assets folder.

• The file name must be image.
• Supported extensions: .png, .jpg, .jpeg
• Examples: image.png, image.jpg, image.jpeg

• The file name must be parry_sound.
• Supported extension: .wav
• Example: parry_sound.wav

Some especially powerful parries can use separate custom image and sound files.

• For the Extreme Parry image, use the file name parry_extreme.
• Supported image extensions: .png, .jpg, .jpeg
• Examples: parry_extreme.png, parry_extreme.jpg, parry_extreme.jpeg
• For the Extreme Parry sound, use the file name parry_extreme.
• Supported sound extension: .wav
• Example: parry_extreme.wav

Extreme Parry custom image and sound can be toggled separately in Remix settings.

If the files are missing or named incorrectly, the mod will simply use the normal custom files or default effects/sound instead.
