May 18, 2026 Update
-Added Enchantment Academy feature (MCM toggle, default OFF). When enabled, a "★ Enter Enchantment Academy" option appears in town menus. Select a hero from your party and learn enchantment blueprints from ALL cultures directly with gold. Learning requirements remain the same as vanilla (must meet the corresponding Lore or Attribute condition). Gold cost is 120% of the original NPC price. No more hunting down culture-specific enchanter NPCs or dealing with Dwarf guild culture restrictions.
-Added "Remove Spells" functionality to the Magic Academy. Select "Unlearn Spells" from the Magic Academy main menu to remove known lores one by one, with all associated spell abilities automatically cleaned up. If a hero’s SpellCaster attribute was granted by the Academy and all lores are removed, the attribute is automatically cleared to prevent Spellbook crashes on an empty page.

– Added "Disable Friendly Spell Damage" and "Disable Self Spell Damage" MCM options. When enabled, damaging spells will no longer harm allied units or the caster

May 11, 2026 Update
– Fixed the issue where companions who were not originally spellcasters could not cast spells after learning via the Magic Academy (spells are now automatically equipped to the companion’s ability bar upon learning).
(The Magic Academy menu entry (★ Open Magic Academy) only checks the MCM toggle upon loading a save. If you enable the feature during gameplay, the menu will not appear immediately. Workaround: After enabling the option, save your game, return to the main menu, and reload the save. Alternatively, ensure the option is enabled at the main menu before loading a save for the first time.)

– Integrated Magic Academy feature (MCM toggle, disabled by default).
– When enabled, a "★ Open Magic Academy" option appears in town menus, allowing you to spend gold to learn all spells for any hero in your party.
KNOWN BUG: After learning spells via the Magic Academy, companions who were not originally spellcasters will not actively cast spells in battle (only heroes who originally possessed the SpellCaster attribute can cast normally).

Winds of Magic & Special Resource Adjustments
Please use the YuefTORSetting-repair module, which includes adjustments for Winds of Magic cap/charge, custom resource caps, perk points, bandit hideout counts, and other system-level tweaks.
PS: Required dependencies are only used as a quick entry point and do not need to be loaded as prerequisites. We also strongly recommend the "Crash Skip" mod, which is very useful.
