This mod adds a new leader to China: Nüwa. Nüwa focuses on terrain transformation, increasing tile Appeal, and improving unique resources.

Saplings can only be planted on empire tiles with at least 7 Appeal, and cannot be planted in cities that already have saplings or fruit trees.
  • The Avatar can nurture Xuanbirds on improved fruit trees. After 10 turns (on Standard speed) of growth, the Xuanbird appears in the capital. The empire can nurture only one Xuanbird at a time, and only while its number is lower than the number of fruit orchards.

  • The growth and nurturing status of saplings, fruit trees, and Xuanbirds can be checked through the unique panel.
  • Actively deleting a Xuanbird will be seen as disliking having too many Xuanbirds. This action will permanently reduce the Xuanbird cap by 1.
  • Under standard rules (with no Rise and Fall or Gathering Storm enabled), a killed Xuanbird loses all experience.
  • Due to game rendering limitations, after terrain is transformed, its model cannot refresh in real time in 3D view.
You can immediately see the terrain change in Strategic View or by hovering the cursor, but the 3D model will update only after reloading the save. This issue does not affect gameplay.
  • Supports multiplayer.
  • A no-DLC version has been created for players who do not have the "Vietnam and Kublai Khan" DLC: Chinese Leader: Nüwa (No DLC Version) . Do not enable both versions at the same time!
