Morale Mod V2 0
to test the mod, load up the editor,
load up 1v1_volo something and spawn 20 infantry per side to test out the infantry spreading out across the map overtime.
load up 2v2_industry to test cqc infantry combat.
edit the mod by going to
"workshopcontent4007502923590328resourcesetinteraction_entityskirmish.inc"
and comment out/in the .inc files.
to enable more cover
comment out (include "cover_pattern_initial_plus.inc")
go into cover.inc and search for cover_pattern_initial_plus, and comment it out,
and then remove the ";" for (include "cover_pattern_full.inc")
main point of this mod is to change AI infantry combat to be more dynamic, and spread out on the battlefield instead of;
*the 3 step shuffle*
"let me take 3 steps and stop"
with this mod, it’ll be;
"let me run and then go prone, and then fall back when I get injured like an actual human should do"
"let me stay in a trench, and only leave it when I stop firing which symbolizes no more enemies in my vicinity"
Testing only, still very WIP
You are free to do whatever you want with this mod. This rule will never change.
Take ideas, or reupload your own version. However I will advise, at this point it probably won’t be safe to use as a dependency as I haven’t fully tested out the hit to Frames per second.
New updates will come from new versions of the mod, since it is impossible as a downloader to revert back to previous versions. There is a huge chance that whatever I change will piss you off XD. Don’t want people to have no choice but to use a forced version of the mod with no other recourse.

Implemented initial cover to stop lag.
added bullet_whizz, must be added to the ammo of the bullet to enable it, which is tedious. Thinking of a way to enable it for all of the bullet ammo without having to change the ammo files…
incoming artillery rounds are immersive with incoming sound.
altered advance to 0, overkill but it gets the job done.
alot of other stuff.

stopped cover from blocking infantry vision
reverted the vehicle.ext change
fixed some redundant fsm edits
changed more cover settings to make infantry move around more
changed advance retreat ratio to 0.5 0.5 to make units more reactive and to stop STANDING AROUND SO DANG MUCH.
units recognize cover now
changed the death and dying screams to a larger distance(again)
removed the breathing every footstep XD
