Description:

This is an updated version of Monotone’s steam track builders, containing his four original cranes and two new sets intended to be competitive with the BR80 heavy track builders recently introduced in Early Start. They are as follows:

Soviet

• PK-1: trackbuilding level 32, available 1861-1961.
• PK-6: level 42, available 1920-1971.

Western

• 10 ton steam crane: level 26, available 1861-1961.
• 36 ton steam crane: level 42, available 1910-1961.
• Peckett 0-4-0 medium steam crane: level 100, available 1885-1945.
• GWR 5700 heavy steam crane: level 180, available 1929-1975.

All are coal powered. The PK-1 and 10T Steam Crane are available in disassembled (crate) forms. The Peckett is about as effective as the short BR80 track builder and available earlier. The GWR 5700 is not quite as powerful as the long BR80 track builder, but is quite a bit faster on the straights.
