3rd Century (esque) Legionary Spearmen
Nothing special, just a Tier III Roman Legionary unit equipped like Triarii. They’re obtainable with Greco-Roman Paganism as your religion, and have ‘Phalanx Formation’ (in this game renamed to spear wall confusingly, which is its additional own ability, nice one CA). They’re the first unit I figured out how to actually give a custom description to. Needs asset library, has support for Britannia alongside West and East Rome.
04/01/2026 – Patched to actually work, headache. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up somewhere with the unit descriptions at one point, no idea where.
05/01/2026 – Patched minor error, always remember to keep an eye on your units_to_groupings_military_permissions_table regarding campaigns. Should be recruitable by the West in campaign now.
08/05/2026 – Patched the fact that it didn’t have a functioning religious requirement, I’m dumb!
