Have you ever dreamed of having a cool Republican army when you become a republic?

You might have thought about it, but the game doesn’t offer much different from an Imperial or Shogunate army.

This mod offers features that will make playing Republic mode more fun by giving you your own Republic army and unique units in the game, supporting the birth of the Republic! The units are inspired by the American Civil War.

Of course, this isn’t historically accurate, but this mod offers a unique perspective.
Access to this is only supported within the Fots storyline.

The condition is that after your clan grows (Satsuma clan recommended), you’ll have to choose whether to fight for the Emperor or declare independence as a republic. You must become a republic first, then you’ll have access to Republican military units, along with a mod that makes their uniforms resemble US uniforms!

RECOMMENDED TO PLAY AS SATSUMA!!

Modified Units :

– Republican Infantry
– Republican Guard Infantry
– Republican Guard Cavalry
– The Republican Infantry and Guard now using American rifle!!
– Need more full AMERICAN style? Install bayonet mod! so they will use them instead of Katana, if you wished.

Modified Clans :

– The Satsuma clan’s colors have changed to resemble the US military’s!!! And it’s been transformed into the Republic of Ezo! However, this is still just a test, as there are still minor graphical errors, and we can’t place them in Hokkaido yet. Please stay tuned for the next update.

– The Chosu clan’s colors have changed to gray (You know what it means……)

New Units!! :

Republican Sharpshooters!
– Basically, they don’t care what color your clan’s uniform is; theirs will always be the classic dark green.
– Also. Their accuracy is ridiculously good, but they’re pretty terrible at close-quarters combat.

Republican Patriot Volunteers!
– Basic armed citizens who will fight for the republic.

Republican Marines!
– Only Satsuma clan can train them, just for now…

Republican Armstrong Guns!
– The training and maintenance costs may be expensive, but it’s worth it to use them!

Republican Red Legs Infantry!
– You can’t underestimate the power of their red pants!

Republican Red Vanguard!
– Who says farmers can’t fight for their own republic?

Republican Revolver Cavalry!
– They might be expensive and require a lot of maintenance, but it’s worth using them, just in appropriate quantities.

Republican Iron Brigade!
– Almost like, Iron heart of the Republic!

Question :

Can this mod be used with other clans?
– Yes, as long as it’s within the Fots storyline and you declare independence as a republic.

Is there a limit on training?
– Probably not.

Will the uniform color change depends on each clans?
– Kinda, yes.

Does this mod work with mods that change clans to the Republic?
– Quite a yes, because this mod only requires a Republic clan to access these units.

Does it work in custom battle?
– This is quite certain, as these units are made accessible in the custom battle mode.
