Description:

What does this basically do?

Changes the behaviour/handling of effects and requirements of these decisions:

‘Restore the Holy Roman Empire’
‘Restore Carolingian Borders’
‘Unify the Burgundies’ (not yet, planned)

Any thought process?

For some otherworldly reasons, these decisions never worked properly in my playthroughs, they always behaved weirdly or partially at best. I took matters into my own hands and dug through the code and changed it to my liking.

What does this specifically do?

‘Restore the Holy Roman Empire’ decision:

Effects section:
- Dynamically announces which Kingdom titles will be destroyed.
- Dynamically announces which Kingdom titles will become De Jure part.
- (for more unmentioned changes, check the ‘R-HRE’ Backstage section below)
Requirements section: (oh has this changed)
- You are the Top Liege
- Your Level of Fame is Illustrious (3) or above
- At least 2 of the following must be true:
  - You Completely Control East Francia, Lotharingia, West Francia
- At least one of these:
  - You Completely Control Frisia, Bavaria, Aquitaine, Burgundy, Italy
- At least 3 of the following must be true:
  - You hold the Kingdom of East Francia title, the Lotharingia title, the West Francia title, the Frisia title, the Bavaria title, the Aquitaine title, the Burgundy title, or the Italy title
- The Realm Size of <primary_title> is 120 or more (<size>)
- At least one of these:
  - <head_of_faith> has at least 60 Opinion of you
  - You have an available Strong Hook on <head_of_faith>
  - You have a Weak Hook on <head_of_faith>
‘R-HRE’ Backstage section:
- Only rulers within the Historical/De Jure borders have access to this decision.
- About the Empire of Germania:
  - If any De Jure Kingdom is being Held or Completely Controlled then the HRE becomes De Jure liege of the Empire of Germania entirely.
- About the Empire of Francia:
  - If the Kingdom of West Francia is being Held or Completely Controlled then the HRE becomes De Jure liege of the Empire of Francia partially or entirely if the Kingdom of Brittany is also being Held or Completely Controlled.
  - If two or more Kingdoms (except West Francia) are being Held or Completely Controlled then the HRE becomes De Jure liege of the Empire of Francia partially or entirely if the Kingdom of Brittany is one of them.
  - If only one Kingdom (except West Francia and Brittany) is being Held or Completely Controlled then the HRE becomes De Jure liege of it.
  - In the first two conditions mentioned above, if the Kingdom of Brittany is neither being Held or Completely Controlled then it will De Jure Drift for the Empire of Britannia, quietly.

‘Restore Carolingian Borders’ decision:

Effects section:
- Dynamically announces which Kingdom titles will be destroyed.
- Dynamically announces which Kingdom titles will become De Jure part.
- The discovery of Knighthood, Royal Prerogative, and Heraldry innovations can be rewarded to a Frankish-inherited culture, the Franconian culture, or the culture of a Karling Dynasty member.

Requirements section:
- You are the Top Liege
- Your Level of Fame is Illustrious (3) or above
- At least one of these:
  - You hold The Holy Roman Empire title (available only if exists)
  - You hold the Empire of Germania title (available only if exists)
  - You hold the Empire of Francia title
- You Completely Control the Regions of Lotharingia, Carolingian Germany, Frisia, Carolingian Francia, Bavaria, Carolingian Iberia, & Northern Italy.
‘R-KE’ Backstage section:
- Only rulers within the Historical/De Jure borders have access to this decision.
- Only rulers of the aforementioned Cultures have access to this decision.
- If the Kingdom of Brittany is being Held or Completely Controlled then it will become De Jure Part of it. Otherwise, it will De Jure Drift for the Empire of Britannia, quietly.
