Description:

This mod is a personal enhancement for Red Lotus and can be used directly as a character mod. It has now been officially authorized. Great thanks to Ghastriv and Heyi.

Once again, thanks to the original mod creators such as Kaze, Devolente, Hegu, and others. Although the original mods have been taken down, you can still find its archived files in the supplementary skin mod released by Heyi. The link is here : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3622409486

I am very fond of this character and its Godzilla-girl concept, which led me to create this extended version. My modifications are rather crude, and I apologize for any shortcomings.

Disclaimer:

The strength of this mod is suitable for environments such as Original Boss Enhance 2.0, Four-in-One, or even more powerful combinations. At the very least, it should be used in environments like "Face the Darkness, Nowhere to Hide" or "Face the Calamity." If used in the original version or with only mods like "Exaelus’ Arduous Edition," it will significantly impact the game experience.

Originally, Red Lotus was a powerful damage dealer with a unique mechanic. She has low speed, giving her the feel of a heavy cannon, yet she possesses a multi-action mechanism, creating a fascinating balance. However, when facing Original Boss Enhance 2.0’s hordes of monsters with hundreds of health points, she tends to fall short.

Therefore, I naturally did not alter such an interesting mechanic. Instead, I strengthened her on this foundation. This version of Red Lotus boasts overwhelmingly powerful AoE armor-piercing capabilities and the durability of a mobile fortress, along with an extremely high virtue chance. Even when teaming up with characters like Rafi or strengthened Remy in champion-level dungeons with Original Boss Enhance 2.0, she won’t be a liability.

Thus, her mechanic of "performing a follow-up attack only if no targets are killed" becomes the most important limiter for her performance in low-difficulty environments. After all, if she can easily eliminate monsters with every move, she won’t trigger those terrifying AoE armor-piercing follow-up attacks. Controlling whether she performs follow-up attacks by "limiting her damage output" also adds a layer of fun. However, even without relying on follow-up attacks, she remains an incredibly powerful damage dealer in the original version.

Furthermore, adjustments have been made to the trinkets, primarily addressing the issue of some low-level trinkets being ambiguous or lackluster. Since we’re aiming to match the power level of mods like Original Boss Enhance 2.0, it’s only fitting that all trinkets have substantial strength, right?

Additionally, the rare trinket "Professor’s Conundrum" has been completely reworked (its description remains unchanged for now). The effects for targeting enemies with high HP and low HP have been swapped. This change allows Red Lotus to more efficiently weaken healthy enemies while being less likely to finish off wounded ones. This perfectly synergizes with her follow-up attack mechanic, which requires not killing any target to activate. The trinket now boasts power on par with Ancestral-tier items and has become a core piece of her equipment.

Moreover, "The Pilgrim’s Gift" has received significant buffs. Not only does it remain a staple for players who favor the "Colossal Fall" playstyle, but it now also holds strong appeal for players experimenting with other builds, offering versatile and powerful utility.

Now, imagine Godzilla coming to Earth and ignoring humanity, instead heading straight for the damp, monstrous creatures in the dungeons. This isn’t just an ordinary monster girl—it’s the incarnation of Godzilla as a deity.
