The True Son of Heaven: Japanese China Improvements
So, once I was doing a Japanese playthrough, and when I reached the point to potentially invade China, I noticed that the decision to claim Mandate of Heaven is kinda "broken" (or at least unrefined), it just unceremoniously destroying Japanese Imperial title (Tenno), making de facto ruler – Shogun – the Huangdi of China.
And now that I wanted to play in Japan again, I wanted to correct those "mistakes".
With this mod when forming China as Japan, you won’t claim the title for yourself but rather for the proper Emperor, you will remain as de facto ruler, yet still a Regent (or Shogun etc.)
As a bonus I made it so that some cultural traditions get changed (to what I consider be more plausible) when you get the Chinese throne.
The mod is rather simple, but it was bothering me…
