# Chinese Generation Names / 中文字辈命名
A Crusader Kings III flavor mod that adds Chinese-style generation names for dynasties.
这个 Mod 为 CK3 添加了中文宗族字辈命名系统，让人物后代可以按照预设字辈谱取名。
## Features / 功能
– Choose one of several ten-generation Chinese generation poems.
– Newborn descendants automatically inherit the family generation poem.
– Each new generation advances to the next character.
– Manually grant generation names to existing dynasty members through character interaction.
– Optional Han-culture AI generation naming.
– AI families use random generation poems and can continue the sequence through descendants.
– Male and female names use separate preset name pools.
## 当前功能
– 玩家可通过决议选择一套十代字辈谱。
– 新生儿会自动继承父母字辈，并推进一代。
– 已存在角色不会自动批量改名。
– 可右键宗族成员使用「按字辈赐名」，手动选择第几代字辈。
– 可通过决议开启或关闭「汉文化 AI 字辈命名」。
– AI 汉文化家族启用后会随机获得字辈谱，并可在后代中延续。
– 名字第一个字为字辈，第二个字从预设男女字库中随机选择。
## Included Generation Poems / 内置字辈谱

The latter four are based on commonly cited Kong/Meng/Zeng/Yan generation-name sequences.
后四套取自常见的孔、孟、曾、颜行辈谱序列。
## Notes / 说明
– This mod does not batch rename existing characters automatically.
– Existing characters can be renamed manually with the character interaction.
– The AI feature is optional and disabled until enabled by decision.
– Generation names are stored through character flags, so inheritance follows parent-child lines.
– The tenth generation loops back to the first generation.
## Compatibility / 兼容性
This mod adds decisions, character interactions, events, localization, and scripted effects.
It should be compatible with most mods unless they overwrite the same files or heavily modify birth/on-action behavior.
本 Mod 添加决议、角色互动、事件、本地化和脚本效果。一般情况下兼容多数 Mod，但如果其他 Mod 大幅修改出生事件或 on_action，可能需要兼容补丁。
## Recommended Use / 推荐用法
1. Start or load a game.
2. Use the decision to choose a generation poem.
3. Use the character interaction to rename existing dynasty members if desired.
4. Newborn descendants will be named automatically.
