Hello, this is my first mod upload.
First let me be upfront, this was made using Claude ai as a learning tool, i am learning how to code in c# but am not quite at a standard to do this by myself just yet. This hasn’t been vibe coded but the c# part is mostly done by ai.
So if you are against ai i understand and encourage you to pass on this mod.

I started this as a personal project to learn , it started as a simple mod to add blood elves from wow as a simple xenotype, the expanded to adding the wretched blood elves. I then had the idea of having one transform into the other which then snow balled.
As i started to test the mod it became apparent i had drifted away from blood elves into its own thing and then the hollowkin/withered were born.

The two xenotypes both have the pyscite dependency of a waster but where as a waster would die after 60 days without any drugs the hollow kin transform into a withered with a new set of genes. When transformed into a withered the dependency percentage is reset to 40%, this was a tough decision to balance as i wanted enough for them to try and get to some drugs but not low enough as to have disappeared after the transformation.
Anyway, i hope you enjoy the mod, and my thanks go out to all the Modder’s out there, especially the ones i have used genes from for this mod in the credits bellow.

Adds two linked xenotypes:

The Hollowkin are a refined long lived people cursed with a psychite dependency, they are attractive and psy sensitive although their arrogance betrays their elven ancestry.

The Withered, these are the hollowed out remnants of a Hollowkin who succumbed to the withering, they are a broken people, depressed at their fall from grace. Abrasive and violent, near feral the Withered have an indifference to their surroundings, peoples status, looks and even their own comfort, to wrapped up in their own misery to notice such things, added to this they seem to attract dirt and grime which adds to their wretched appearance. They have also, developed claws they prefer to fight with.

When a Hollowkin’s dependency reaches lethal severity, instead of dying they transform into a Withered and, while surviving the ordeal they are forever changed, their former self gone. The Withered have no such escape. When their dependency claims them, they die.

There is also an event called the withering, when you have had some psycite drugs on the map for 7 days the event is added to the event pool, if there are no pyscite drugs for 7 days the event is removed from the event pool.

The withering : withered and wasters descend on the colony in a raid but unlike a normal raid this raid is for one thing only, drugs, they will head towards the drugs, fighting anyone in the way, break there way inside for them, take the drugs and leave, if the drugs are harder to get to than another raider with drugs then they will fight amongst themselves for the drugs, it’s essentially a raid of individuals who are raiding together rather then a united faction. When there are no drugs remaining they leave. This can lead to chaos with them fighting over the drugs. I am not 100% certain this event is firing correctly so please report any issues and i will attempt to fix it.
