Trade Partners
Have you ever wondered who you’re actually trading with through the world market? This mod will let you know.
It adds charts to the market trade tab showing import and export partners and also tooltips for the player’s trade with other markets. Check the images for details.
This information is otherwise obscure in-game and would have to be pieced together from the goods list.
Things of note:
– Not a bug, but it’s possible to trade with yourself via the world market if a combination of local price and trade advantage make it profitable for trade centres in 2 different states. Currently this shows up as importing/exporting to your own market. This can be hidden in an update if it’s too confusing.
– With very low trade volumes you might notice the sum of goods doesn’t match the total volume. It’s possible to trade small fractions of goods with the world market which isn’t normally displayed so there’s a choice between inconsistent maths and cluttering the UI with things like 0.02 fish.
The mod is safe to add or remove any time and has relatively minimal performance impact (adds ~100ms to month ticks on a Ryzen 7950 based on the in-game profiler).
