This mod reworks enemy AI behavior to create more realistic and punishing Close Quarters Battle scenarios.
Enemies are no longer passive. When your team makes noise — whether from a gunshot, a breaching charge, or even footsteps — the threat inside responds. They take cover, coordinate, and are ready for you by the time you step through that door. Make a loud entry and give them enough time, and you will walk into a fully prepared defense.
Enemy behavior has been redesigned around a multi-stage awareness system. How dangerous they are depends entirely on how much information they have about your team’s presence and location. The specifics are intentionally kept under wraps — figuring out what they know and when is part of the challenge.
This mod was designed and tested exclusively for indoor CQB environments. Open Quarters Battle scenarios (outdoor, large open areas) have not been tested. Behavior in those situations may be inconsistent or feel off. Use at your own risk in non-CQB maps.
Works great alongside cat’s hardcore insurgents. That mod hardens the enemies themselves — better weapons, armor, and doctrines. This mod makes them smarter about how they react to your presence. Together, they cover both sides of the difficulty equation.
