Hyperium Thermal Exchanger
The Hyperium Thermal Exchanger is a delicate piece of equipment venting heat into a coolant fluid with crushed Hyperium Crystals.
It’s basically a huge heat sink/radiator that takes time to charge and uses Hyperium as a resource.
It can hold 40 Hyperium at a time and the same amount of heat as a fully loaded Thermal Canister Missile Launcher.
When the heat is full, a hyperium crystal is expended to empty the heat.
Can be placed internally.
Crew cannot traverse from one side to the other
Has tech purchase options for both career and build’n’battle modes
Overclocking does nothing and can’t be done, but it is a thermal part … 🙂
