This mod adds 5 different Resistance support beacons to the game, while completely rewriting the AI behavior logic as well as the stats of the Resistance.

Supported Mod:
[WOTC] Land Reinforcements Can provide new entry animations for Resistance units.
Long War of the Chosen

Known Issues:

1. Sometimes the beacon-throwing animation may get interrupted and turn into a shooting animation, but this does not affect the actual effect.
2. Summoning Resistance beacons will trigger a Will reduction effect, identical to enemy reinforcement effects.
3. Sometimes, one or several Resistance action turns get stuck, which is speculated to be a problem with the game mechanics.

1. Resistance Soldier

Resistance Soldiers tend to engage in standard positional warfare. If a high-value target check is passed within throwing range, they will prioritize throwing grenades; they form the basic frontline of the Resistance.

  • Build Cost: 75 Supplies
  • Loadout: Basic Rifle. Advanced/Elite Soldiers are additionally equipped with Armor-Piercing Grenades.

2. Resistance Sniper

Resistance Snipers tend to hold firmly in rear cover, using extremely high aim to deliver precise long-range strikes against enemy targets. Equipped with heavy sniper rifles and targeting devices, they are not suited for intense mobile combat, having very low mobility. At the same time, they suffer severe aim penalties against close-range enemies, and gain massive aim bonuses against long-range enemies; if enemies get right up to their face, they will also use Flashbang Grenades to disorient them and interrupt their offensive rhythm.

  • Build Cost: 125 Supplies
  • Loadout: Heavy Sniper Rifle. Advanced/Elite Snipers are additionally equipped with Flashbang Grenades.

3. Resistance MEC

Resistance MECs tend to act as heavy frontline units for fire suppression. When discovering densely clustered targets, they will prioritize launching Micro Missiles for area damage. However, because the AI intelligence system of the Resistance MEC is being choked by ADVENT (sadly), it cannot properly calculate firing trajectories against enemies hiding behind cover. But when facing flanking situations, the Resistance MEC can perform precise strikes. At the same time, because it uses a self-made Resistance autocannon, and all related technological resources have been invested into armor shredding, the cannon’s damage is extremely unstable.

  • Build Cost: 300 Supplies
  • Loadout: Resistance-made Autocannon, Micro Missiles (3-6 AoE damage, shred 2 armor).

4. Resistance Skirmisher

Resistance Skirmishers have extremely high mobility, and tend to aggressively use their speed advantage to seek flanking positions against enemy forces, while also being equipped with powerful Plasma Grenades. As former ADVENT, Resistance Skirmishers can disguise themselves as ADVENT soldiers on the battlefield, causing enemies to become dazed and miss their shots. At the same time, they are deeply familiar with the physical weaknesses of ADVENT; if they successfully land a hit, they will deal massive critical damage. However, because they use light submachine guns, their base damage is very low.

  • Build Cost: 200 Supplies
  • Loadout: Light Submachine Gun. Advanced/Elite Skirmishers are additionally equipped with Plasma Grenades.

5. Resistance Android

Resistance Androids are newly self-developed mimic beacon-type products by the Resistance. They are externally equipped with extremely high armor protection modules to effectively absorb damage, but internally they are equipped with a very weak standard AI combat processor. They will only perform suppression and overwatch, and will never actively fire. At the same time, they are deliberately designed with high-visibility colors, making them very easy to hit on the battlefield. Meanwhile, the intentionally exposed wires on the Android will inflict damage reflection and burning effects on any biological unit that attacks them at close range.

  • Build Cost: 100 Supplies
  • Loadout: Basic Firepower, Melee Reflection Burn Module (Hellweave Armor).
