Advanced Torture

Advanced Torture expands the prisoner system with a darker, more detailed and more immersive torture interaction for Crusader Kings III.

Instead of using a single generic torture option, this mod allows you to choose specific punishments through a structured event menu. Tortures are divided by severity and purpose, with narrative scenes, prolonged punishments, and progression for rulers who repeatedly practice torture.

• Several specific torture options with different consequences.

• Tortures can generate dread, wounds, permanent traits and other consequences.
• Sadistic tortures are restricted to sadistic characters.
• Prolonged tortures with duration-based results.
• Sleep deprivation, dark cell imprisonment, starvation and thirst, and prolonged suspension.
• Progression toward the vanilla Torturer trait after repeated use of advanced torture.
• Experienced torturers reduce the chance of accidental death during the most dangerous tortures.
• Special Tortured to Survive modifier for prisoners kept alive by an expert torturer.
• Prepared support for future cultural tortures, special methods and compatibility patches.

This is the main version of the mod and is designed to work as a general Crusader Kings III gameplay mod.
