Description:

Gozanti II mod C is a partially upgraded version of the Gozanti II. Spawning at a core 4, with some weapons, most thrusters installed, and key sections of the ship reinforced with Hardened or Combat Steel, the mod C will be more robust in terms of combat survival.

The Corellian Engineering Corporation Gozanti II Transport

The Gozanti II is the successor to the Galactic Empire’s workhorse transport. The Gozanti II can be upgraded and converted to a exploration and/or transport vessel, or serve as a mining vessel late into the game. It can also server as a early game skirmisher vessel, able to mount a modest yet respectable turret load on the bottom of the ship, and for Reforged Eden players, can house all small and medium size shield extenders, enabling the player to push POIs early in the game.

Hello kindred Empyrion spirits!

Let me start with a request; please respect blueprint authors. Often it takes months to finesse a build, and to have it ripped and reuploaded without permission or even so much as credit, can be discouraging, often pushing such authors away from the community.

I personally don’t mind critical feedback, and constructive criticism, as it will serve me to better my builds. However, If you enjoy my content, and there is much more to come, respect my (and others) authorship of these massive timesinks. Thank You.

HOW TO CHANGE THE COLOR SCHEME

1. First copy the desired color code found either here with control C.
2. While looking at the ship with color/texture tool out, right click to open texture palette, then click configure.
3. Your green selection box should be over the top left color. If not, left click it to select.
4. Now while holding down shift, left click the bottom right color box, then in the left UI box, hit paste.
5. Once done, your new palette should apply, but to lock it in you have to hit OK under the color palette box.

Armament

The Gozanti II mod C B comes with 6 minigun turrets for drone defense, and 2 laser turrets for fire support.

When upgraded, the total turret capacity will reach 15-17, depending on if underwing pylons are converted to turret mounts, with the bulk of them mounted on the bottom for POI attack. Mounted weapons will number 8 or 12 depending on if outer wingtips are utilized.

The weapon mounts around the nose (6-8) will make for a respectable mining drill spread.

survivability

The Gozanti II mod C has a body encasement of Steel around the central spine and trafficked areas, as well as around devices. The area around the bridge, nose, gen housing, and shield have been reinforced with Combat Steel. The 2 shield housing compartments have been reinforced with hardened steel.

With two thruster pods on either side of the vessel, should one detonate, the ship will retain movement from the other, and from a Drive Thruster (optionally) installed on the rear of the vessel. The Drive Thruster will act as a defacto high HP decoy from fire at the rear of the ship, and should it explode theres enough steel layers to prevent rupture into the hangar.

Gozanti’s saving grace in terms of defense is its ability to mount all small and medium size shield extenders throughout the ship, and the generator spacing to also run a Progenitor shield for a respectable total. Tread carefully and monitor your shield reserves.

Thrusters

Placement for additional thrusters extensively detailed in the tutorial video. Once all devices and thrusters are installed, the Gozanti II will be able to push its full carry weight very easily, and be able to transit out of high G environments by nosing up.

Features and Devices

Comes with 2 Wifi fore and aft, 1 fridge and food processor, 1 full medical suite in the deployment room, and partial suite in the hangar, as well as lockers placed at entry points. Gozanti II Also features a drone hatch near the forward bridge.

The mod C comes with standard shield, warp drive, pentaxid tank, and detector installed.

HV’s and SV’s can be mounted below the wings. Attaching docking pads or landing gear to the top of HVs/SVs will enable them to "jump" up and dock to 4 dedicated parking sections under either wing

Storage

2x 320k Cargo container (recommended to convert to Harvest when level appropriate)
1x 320k Ammo
2x 32k Supplemental Cargo
3x 8k Misc. Cargo

Additional cargo systems can optionally be installed in/around the hangar for 2x additional 320k Cargo.

Lore and History

The Gozanti II Is a next generation light transport, aimed to be be the successor of the Empires’s workhorse Gozanti, designed by the Corellian Engineering Corporation.

However, the untimely fall of the Empire resulted in the ship not making it into production. With only one hull constructed for testing, the true ambition of this successor could not be realized. Perhaps in the right hands this transport may flourish!
