Description:

4 sets of game rules have been added to the game, with a total of 3+4+5+5 settings, used to restrict the construction of fortresses in the game.

New mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3734828136 , it can perform a global fortress clearance at the start of the game, and when used with this mod, it can achieve complete fortress restriction functionality.

1. Scope of fortress restrictions: All AI / AI excluding player vassals / All countries
2. Conditions for fortress construction locations: All location levels / Town and above / City and above / Only megalopolis
3. Total number of fortresses a country can build: Increases progressively according to country level, from County to Empire, with each option setting a different quantity for each level; can choose to have no limit
4. Number of fortresses allowed per region: No limit within region / Only 1 per province / Only 1 per area / Only 1 per region / Can only be built in the capital, market center, or governor’s location

For the rule "Number of fortresses allowed per region," among the three options limiting fortress quantity within a region, the limit refers to all buildings that provide fortress levels. Besides standard fortress buildings, it also includes the Theodosian Walls, China’s ancient Great Wall, and the Great Wall.

All settings of this mod only affect the construction of fortresses, will not affect already built fortresses, and will not cause the AI’s finances to collapse due to too many fortresses as in other similar mods. Additionally, it makes the ‘dismantle fortress’ peace treaty more meaningful.
By setting fortress restrictions to apply to all countries, even with AI automatic construction enabled, it won’t randomly lay down fortresses for you.

Supports Chinese, Japanese, and English.
Also supports Korean, Russian, French, and German, but all are AI translations. Since I do not understand any of these languages at all, I cannot correct the results of the AI translations, and I cannot guarantee that they do not contain results that may cause text errors.
