CrashLanding Extended – Redux
Maintained fork of Mnementh’s CrashLanding Extended. The original author has not been reachable for updates; this fork applies bug fixes and a composition-safe refactor while preserving all gameplay design. All scenario hooks, balance, and the Escape shuttle building are Mnementh’s. Requires SAD_CommonLib.
This mod extends the victory conditions of the default Crash Landing scenario by introducing the ability to construct Escape ships.
Each escape ship can carry up to 2 people. Once the escape fleet becomes large enough to accommodate all present survivors, the takeoff sequence will be triggered.
For the next 10 days, hostile attacks will occur at the beginning of each morning.
You will win the scenario if no ship is destroyed during this period.
– Escape shuttles research now stays hidden until its 5 prerequisite resources (CarbonNanotubes, LiquidFuel, ScrapElectronics, CPUCore, PowerCell) are unlocked, instead of appearing in the research panel from game start.
– Construction-group registration is now idempotent: Emergency Rations and First Aid Kits are added to the Construction resource group via SAD_CommonLib’s ChangeProperty system, so the registration cleanly composes with other mods, deduplicates on reload, and unwinds when the mod is disabled.
– The 5,6,7,8,9,10 Survivors mod prevents the takeoff sequence from triggering. Per Mnementh’s guidance on the original mod’s comments, use Bonus Starting Survivors instead if you want to start with more than the vanilla survivor count.
