Description:

The aim of this mod is to fix Australia and New Zealand, while making as little changes to the game as possible to maximise compatability with other mods. As it stands right now, the AI is almost never able to properly form Australia due to oversights by the developers, and New Zealand is never created.

Overall, this mod makes forming Australia slightly more difficult, but less frustrating.

Compatible with version 1.13

Issues with base game
– South Australia almost never colonises, as they lack colonisation law at game start
– South Australia is boxed in by Kaurna, because it is an unrecognised nation, rather than decentralised like other aboriginal tags
– Forming Australia is impossible, even federating every country, unless colonisation is complete in all states. This results in a pseudo-Australia existing until colonisation finishes. Very immersion breaking.

Features:
– South Australia fixed – no longer exists at game start (historical)
– Added new events to create the colonies of South Australia, New Zealand, Victoria, and Queensland
– Players can choose whether to allow new colonies to be created, either by playing as NSW or Great Britain. By default events are given to Britain unless NSW is controlled by a player.
– Changed the requirements to form Australia: it now requires pan-nationalism, but doesn’t require that uncolonised provinces are colonised or that New Zealand is owned.
– Reduced the cooldown of the Federate Australia button to be less tedious, and should reduce bordergore
– Adds some historical names to some states in Australia and New Zealand.
– Increases rate of colonisation by AI to make Australia less tedious
– New Zealand and Australia should both emerge as independent colonies by the end of the game.
– Rebalanced some resources in Australian states

Recommended that you use in conjunction with AI improvement mod (e.g. kAI), as base game AI can be a bit stupid and tends not to do anything
