Original mod description: A revival of the outdated historical institutions mod. Significantly reduced institution spread and increased cost for non-European cultures are included, to reflect the emergence of Europe, as the center of global affairs during the era of EU4. There are both pre-1600 modifiers and post-1600 modifiers that affect institutions. Post-1600 modifiers lower institution spread further primarily in order to balance out the globalized institutions starting from global trade, while also representing Europe’s continuously increasing lead.
