★ Briefing

Coalition forces quelled the Irregulars force mutiny colluding with the F-Tree wackos, rescuing the DEA agent and auditors while securing critical evidence. Most rebel militiamen fled; others were absorbed into other military units without disbandment. Investigations confirmed that fleeing tribal commanders were key culprits in the scrapyard arms smuggling—now vanished.

Despite intensified counterinsurgency operations by coalition and local army, attacks persisted.

Frequent terror strikes strained coalition intelligence resources, causing rampant misidentified strikes and civilian casualties.

Simultaneously, local police—driven to ruthless extremes by recent atrocities—adopted a "kill a thousand innocents rather than spare one guilty" approach, detaining suspects en masse. Plummeting public support in Nowheraki enabled foreign jihadist infiltration.

Exploiting this chaos, the F-Tree wackos infiltrated and assaulted a detention center holding high-value prisoners. Crucially, a recently surrendered enemy defector—Tamim Adnan Al-Dulaimi was imprisoned there—at risk of recapture or execution. Coalition high command deemed losing such intelligence unacceptable.

JSOC launched Operation "Irascible", coordinating air/ground fire support to stall the jihadist assault and extract the enemy defector. Defenders held their perimeter, while a Nowheraki Army tank and infantry cleaved a path to the facility.

Extract the enemy defector at all costs—speed is survival.

JTAC attached to your team can call in:
– Attack helicopter strikes;
– Defender mortar support;
– Be aware: Civilians remain in kill zones.

The detention center is an isolated island under siege. Expect ferocious F-Tree wackos resistance. Every second compounds risk.
