Description:

This Mod adds a monetary system that doesn’t affect vanilla performance.

Works perfect on current 1.13.8 Victoria 3 update

### Added a Banking tab under the Budget Panel (4th button)

* The Banking tab displays various information related to everything introduced by this mod and centralizes it in one place.
* In the Banking tab, you can also find "Set Active Bonds" by clicking the Bonds button. In this new Bonds page, you can select an active Bond that provides a small continuous bonus. Only one Bond can be active at a time.
* Under the Currency category, your currency has an index. This Currency Index represents the total value and influence of your currency. If your currency is used by multiple nations and subjects, this index will grow much more than if it is only used by your nation. The Currency Index provides a minting bonus depending on the strength of your national currency.
* If you hover over your national Currency Index Icon you will see how much minting your currency generates, the more adopted your national currency is, the more minting you will get from your currency
* Silver by it’s self doesn’t provide minting because that is handled by the Currency Index. Gold minting remains unchanged like in vanilla
* A bit of flavor: banknotes will change their appearance according to the Currency Law you have enacted.

### 3 New Production Buildings

– Bank: Used to produce Currency (Development tab)
– Finance Department: Used to produce Bonds & Stocks (Development tab)
– Silver Mine: Used by most banking buildings operating under the Silver Standard. Historically, during the early 19th century, most of the world was on a silver standard, while only Great Britain operated on a gold standard. (Resources tab)

The Bank building contains 2 production method groups: "Currency Standard" and "National Currency". Both production method groups can only be changed through laws (Monetary System Law and National Currency Law).

Bank Production Methods:

– Silver-Backed Currency (uses Silver, Iron, and Paper to produce Currency)
– Gold-Backed Currency (uses Gold, Iron, and Paper to produce Currency)
– Fiat Currency (uses Bonds, Iron, and Paper to produce Currency)

### 3 New Law Groups Under the Economy Category

– Banking System (Institution for Banks)
– Monetary System (Enables production methods for Bank buildings)
– National Currency (27 custom currencies in total)

### New Goods

Currency (Staple)

Currency is produced by Bank buildings and can be found in the Staple category in the Market Panel.

If multiple currencies exist in your market, all of them will be visible. For example, if you force a subject to adopt your currency, the subject’s original currency will gradually disappear from the Market Panel until only your currency remains in demand within your market.

Bonds (Luxury)

– Government Bonds
– Railroad Stocks
– Oil Stocks
– Energy Stocks

Silver (Luxury)

There are 27 currencies in total, one of which is the Universal Pound. The Universal Pound is used by nations that do not yet have a custom currency assigned. More currencies may be added in future updates.
