[LF] Defender II
Defender II is a core 4 spawn CV that spawns in as an unarmed transport for RE1, RE2, and Vanilla that once upgraded becomes a high agility light corvette able to dodge fire from the toughest of conventional foes and subdue them.
The Defender spawns in at CPU core 4, and has a high upgrade range able to house all CPU extensions for the RE Scenarios, turning this gunship into an agile killer once upgrades are in place.
With options to upgrade thruster mounts to 2 drive/XXL thrusters in each direction, pilots will find the thrust values well above adequate for anyone looking for an agility build.

Defender II comes in as an unarmed transport, save 4 sentry guns.
Once upgraded, Defender II can mount upwards of 38 turrets, capping out the RE2 placement, and options to cap out the Mounted Weapons as well (Pending the RE2 T3 slots are cruise missles)
Featuring an all steel exterior base, the Defender II is reinforced at critical component locations, and features Combat Steel + Hardened Steel at key locations.. The bridge has a Combat Steel reinforced surrounding, and the core room (Engineering) features a layer of Combat Steel.
Hardened Steel and Combat Steel has been provisioned between devices to allow a good level of chain reaction mitigation.
Defender II spawns in with mediocre thrust, but once all XXL / Drive thrusters are installed, the ship’s character begins to take from as a great hit and fade corkscrew / strafe fighter.
Comes with x1 Large Constructor with placement for several additional ones throughout the hangar.
Wifi, Detector, full medical suite at bridge, armor lockers, and a repair station in hangar.

The Defender was originally a design from the Old Republic era. Once used as a Jedi Corvette, Rendili StarDrive in one of its last ditch efforts during the formative years of the Galactic Empire, sought to pull contracts away from the ever growing Kuat Drive Yards, by reintroducing the Defender.
Reimagined as the Defender II the ship was slated to be a gunship, but the recent events surrounding the Jedi caused concern that the ship would draw the ire of the Emperor, given the ship’s historical name association with the Jedi. Instead, the ship went into production as light transport with a fast Hyperdrive.
Success as a light transport was underwhelming, but the collapse of Rendili StarDrive would see several of the ships fall into the hands of the Rebel Alliance who would end up utilizing it to its fullest potential.
One such Rebel Alliance member, Captain Kade, realized what the original intent of the ship was designed for, converting the ship into a full gunship, and becoming a thorn in the side of the Empire for decades.
