Lowborn Rise: Ennoblement (Updated for 1.18)
Overview
Grant your worthy lowborn courtiers noble status through a new character interaction. Transform loyal servants, skilled commanders, or exceptional administrators into landed nobility with their own dynasties.
Features
Ennoblement Interaction: Right-click any lowborn adult courtier to offer them nobility
Dynasty Creation: Ennobled characters immediately found new dynasties with generated coats of arms
Costs: 150 Prestige, 40 Gold, 25 Renown (reflects the dynasty’s investment in a new noble house)
Requirements:
Must be a feudal ruler
Target must be lowborn, adult, not imprisoned
Target must be your courtier
Benefits:
Ennobled character gains 75 Prestige and 40 Gold
+25 opinion of you
You gain a favor hook (representing their gratitude and loyalty)
Both characters gain permanent memories of the ennoblement
Stress Effects: Callous, Greedy, and Arrogant rulers gain minor stress

Compatibility: as this adds new interaction, this is compatible with virtually all mods, except those that add an overlapping ennoblement route, such as GPT Flavor Pack 1.18.
Save Game Compatible: Yes (can be added/removed mid-game)
Technical Details
Uses the create_dynamic_title mechanism to force dynasty creation – the game creates a temporary landless duchy title, assigns it to the lowborn character (triggering dynasty generation), then immediately destroys the title. This is the only reliable method in CK3 1.18 to create dynasties for lowborn characters.
Future plans – Lowborn Rise Expanded (bringing similar functionality to other government types with appropriate costs… e.g. influence costs for admin..)
