Tyrannosaurus Rex or Imperator or Regina is a large megatheropod genus in the tyrannosauridae branch(being the first and giving its name to it). This reptile was the apex predator of its region(the hell creek formation in north america) it ruled with an(tiny) iron first from 69 to 66 M years B-C
This georgous animal lenghted from 9 to 12M(for the largest) despite the clichés, this predator doesnt eat carcass, it actively hunts(as proof show). And unlike movies intend to show, it doesnt roar. but rather do some crocodilian low frequency sounds. he has a excellent vision able to see front like us. (and the trick to not move wont save you by the way.) His reign met a brutal end when the famous Chixulub impactor collided with earth in the yucatan peninsula 66M years ago.
